The challenge
I set myself a challenge: to build a Gameboy entirely from scratch in 3D, and to bring an animation I had in my head to life. I never had one growing up, but once I discovered them I knew I wanted to make my own version. Say hello to Gamepika.
Approach
I modelled, textured and animated everything myself. In a world full of flat gadgets, I wanted something you could almost touch, feel and want to hold.
Why it matters
It's design for people who miss tactile joy, and proof to myself that I can take an idea straight from my head and make it feel real.
